Please ensure that you check the contents of your order upon delivery. Any missing or damaged items must be reported to sales@tufferman.co.uk within 7 days of the order being placed. Photos of any damaged items will be required.

 

Returns

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or faulty product, we will collect the item and either replace the item for you or refund you in full. In some cases, we may ask our customers to return the item to us but we will of course refund any extra postage costs to you.

Customers are welcome to return unwanted items to us within 28 working days, providing they are unused and in their original packaging. However please note that customers are responsible for the return costs of unwanted items

Setting up the shelving was straight forward and the finished unit is very sturdy. The only issue worth mentioning is the construction of each shelf. I have another set of shelves (not sure of the manufacturer), where each shelf the top is MDF and the 4 sides are separate parts. Having the shelf in separate parts makes it easier to reposition a single shelf.

This is a decent product and I would advise you do not go for cheaper options as I just don not think they achieve the spec of this item. I ordered two of these shelves but unfortunately one was damaged due to mishandling in transit with three shelves creased. Tufferman reacted quickly and provided replacements within 48 hrs. The shelves are a little flimsy prior to assembly and care needs to be taken during the build process, alignment of the locking tangs being particularly time consuming. Once in place the shelving is rigid and strong. I would recommend purchasing the wall fixings and also the clips to join shelves together if buying more than one. As mine were installed back to back I also secured then together using mush head bolts and nuts to give added rigidity. Additionally I spent some more money buying rubber protection matting and cut it to size for each shelf to offer that increased protection. Once in place in my garage they have proved to be functional for all aspects of domestic storage.
